The Butler County Commission will hold a FY 17-18 Budget Request Meeting on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, beginning at 2:00 P.M.


Butler County Announces Job Opening for position of Certified EMA Director.  Applications will be taken at the Butler County Commission Office through 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must have 2 years college level education

Must have 3 years work experience in the area of emergency response & emergency management

Must have completed 200 hours of course work in emergency management as established by the Director of AEMA

Must have a valid Alabama Drivers License

If hired as Butler County EMA Director, you must reside in Butler County, Alabama

The new date and time of the Butler County Commission will now be as follows:   The Commission Workshop and the Regular Monthly Meeting will now be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month beginning at 5:15 p.m. and the Regular Monthly Commission Meeting will begin after the conclusion of the Workshop at approximately 6:00 p.m.

All meetings are open to the public and they are invited to attend.  All meetings are held in the Commission Chambers located in the Courthouse Annex I Building, 202 Patsaliga Street, Greenville, AL 36037.
