Public Notice:  Butler County Commission announces EMA Director Job Opening-Applications will be taken through 4:p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017.  If interested in the EMA Director position, applications may be picked up from the Butler County Commission Office.  Please submit your application and resume' to the Butler County Commission, P.O. Box 756, Greenville, AL 36037.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must Have successfully completed 64 semester or 96 quarter hours of college level education

*  Preferred, but not required-experience in the area of emergency response & emergency management

*  Preferred, but not required-successfully completed 200 hours of course work in emergency       management as established by the Director of AEMA

*  Successful applicant must be able to complete the qualifications for certification within twelve (12) months of employment

*  Must have a valid Alabama Drivers License

*  If hired as Butler County's EMA Director, you must reside in Butler County, Alabama

 

The new date and time of the Butler County Commission will now be as follows:   The Commission Workshop and the Regular Monthly Meeting will now be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month beginning at 5:15 p.m. and the Regular Monthly Commission Meeting will begin after the conclusion of the Workshop at approximately 6:00 p.m.

All meetings are open to the public and they are invited to attend.  All meetings are held in the Commission Chambers located in the Courthouse Annex I Building, 202 Patsaliga Street, Greenville, AL 36037.
