Public Notice:  Butler County Commission announces job opening for EMA Director.

Applications will be taken through 4 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017.  If interested in the EMA Director position for Butler County, you may pick up an application in the Butler County Commission Office.  Please submit your application and resume to the Butler County Commission, P.O. Box 756, Greenville, AL 36037.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must have successfully completed 64 semester or 96 quarter hours of college level education

Preferred, but not required - experience in the area of emergency response and emergency management

Preferred, but not required - successfully completed 200 hours of course work in emergency management as established by the Director of AEMA

Successful applicant must be able to complete the qualifications for certification with twelve (12) months of employment.

Must have a valid Alabama Drivers License

If hired as Butler County's EMA Director, you must reside in Butler County, Alabama
